Identify the exact generation first.
The first-generation ID. Charger (2020) and ID. Charger 2 (2024) differ in shape, dimensions and features. “Volkswagen wallbox” alone is not enough to select a cover or stand.

The second generation is lower and narrower. Do not automatically reuse photos, drilling templates or compatibility assumptions from the first generation.

Installation without a suitable wall
Stand, Vela / Station 360: Stand, Vela and Station 360 are project solutions. Check mounting plate, anchoring, power supply, cable management, drainage and maintenance access.
Outdoor installation
Exposure to rain, wind, dirt, sun, snow or frost depends on the country and site. An additional cover does not waterproof the charger, change its IP or IK rating, or replace manufacturer clearances.
