MENNEKES is updating both its home and professional charging ranges in 2026. The main additions are the 11 kW AMTRON 4You 400 for home charging and the new generation of Professional and AMTRON Professional Twincharge products.
For an enclosure or freestanding structure, power is only part of the specification. Dimensions, cable movement, ventilation, maintenance access and fixing points all matter.
AMTRON 4You 400 for home charging
Presented at Light + Building 2026 and in production from May 2026, the model is specified by MENNEKES with 11 kW output, a fixed 6 m cable, app control, RFID, solar-surplus charging and energy-management integration. ISO 15118-20 support is described as software-upgradeable.
References to AFIR and § 14a EnWG relate to the German regulatory context described by MENNEKES. They are not incentive claims and must not be assumed to apply identically in other countries.
Professional and Twincharge: a project-specific installation
The next Professional generation adds a 3.5-inch display and a more maintenance-oriented design; production of AMTRON Professional and Twincharge is planned from Q4 2026. Twincharge combines two charging points with up to 22 kW per point, depending on configuration. For businesses, hotels and parking areas, the charger, cables, service access and MENNEKES' own support system must be assessed as one project.
