Crystal Shell: outdoor EV charger cover for a cleaner charging point
Crystal Shell is an outdoor EV charger cover designed to protect home and professional charging points from sun, rain, UV rays, dirt, wind and accidental impacts.
It is not just a small rain roof. Crystal Shell protects the top and the front of the EV charger with a smoked polycarbonate panel, helping the charging point look cleaner, more protected and better integrated into the outdoor space.
Why protect an outdoor EV charger?
An outdoor EV charger or home charging point is exposed every day to direct sunlight, rain, dust, leaves, wind and daily use. Even when the charger is designed for outdoor installation, an external cover can improve protection and visual order.
Crystal Shell does not replace the charger’s technical specifications or IP rating. It reduces direct exposure and improves the appearance of the charging area.
Top and front protection
Many EV charger covers are simple top canopies. They offer partial protection from above but leave the front of the charger exposed.
Crystal Shell protects in two directions: the top cover helps against rain, sun and dirt; the front smoked polycarbonate panel helps shield the charger and makes the installation look more refined.
Technical materials
The front smoked polycarbonate panel creates a modern protective screen. The rear aluminium composite panel provides stability, lightness and resistance for outdoor use.

Crystal Shell can be evaluated for different installations: direct wall mounting, installation with a support or base, mounting on an existing customer post, or installation with a dedicated VoltaCover post.

Suitable when the EV charger is already installed, or will be installed, on a stable wall.

Crystal Shell can be evaluated with different EV chargers and wallbox systems, including Tesla Wall Connector, Wallbox, ABB, KEBA, ABL, Alfen, Zaptec, Easee, Mennekes, go-e, Heidelberg/Amperfied and other electric vehicle charging systems.
